We have had lots of sports action happening in the past week. We have had all of our summer sports underway playing their games, Otago Triathlon, Otago Swimming Champs, South Island swimming champs, Otago Touch tournament and more to come this week with Otago Athletics tomorrow. A reminder to please keep sending me the results from your child's games. Good luck for all your sporting ventures this week.

Touch:

Lots of close encounters this week, it's great to see the beautiful weather enabling us to have consistent games of touch! I love hearing about all the games!

ET White vs ET Orange - A close game between the two ET Teams, it went try for try with ET White coming out the eventual winners.

Great game vs Fairfield Lions. East Taieri Jade won 6-2. Great team work and enjoyable to watch/coach. Macauley was Player of the day.

Congratulations to Felix S and Charlie C for representing Otago Touch at their first tournament of the year in Invercargill. The boy's team won all 3 of their games, battling some terrible weather conditions. Good luck for your next tournament in Christchurch in December!

Futsal:

East Taieri White went down 6-1 in last weeks game. It was a competitive game and George was our player of the day! Great work in goal and first season of Futsal!
