We had a great start to the school year last week, with children settling well into new classes, happy to catch up with friends and welcome new ones. 

A big thank you to Leslie Pijpker, one of our parents, who has made a fabulous junior picnic table for us and has offered to make more! See photo below. It will be great for the Juniors to have their own outdoor tables.

We had a concerned parent contact the school last week, having seen several cars driving out of the school carpark onto Cemetery Road without stopping at the STOP sign at the entrance. As children walk along the footpath across the carpark entrance, this is a real safety hazard. 

A reminder about the Student Council's Mufti Day THIS Friday. Children are asked to wear something red and bring a gold coin donation to support Heart KIds.
