PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Jennifer Horgan —

‘E ako ana, ā, e tipu tahi ana tātou’ - Learning and growing together.

Kia ora koutou

Practices for carol services are underway as final end-of-year celebrations draw near. The church can  seat a maximum of 200 adults. Because of Health and Safety requirements, we are going to monitor this carefully this year. We are very aware that this is a really special part of East Taieri School, so we will also be live streaming the celebration. This will be into the Oak Hall area, where there will also be some seating and standing room.We appreciate your support and understanding.

Our Christmas card postbox is in the office foyer for children to post cards to friends throughout the school. Student Council members sort and distribute cards each day.

We had a Helpers' morning tea last week to acknowledge the time and effort given to the school by our wonderful Home and School committee, Road Patrol parents, Second Hand Uniform Shop, Christina King who works with our envirogroup on our vegetable gardens, our Bible in School teachers and those who regularly support classroom programmes. Several couldn't attend because of other commitments. Our grateful thanks to all helpers.

Enjoy the week ahead.

School reports will be sent home with the children on Monday 14th December.

Ngā mihi nui
