E tū ki te kei o te waka, kia pakia koe e ngā ngaru o te wā. 'Stand at the stern of the canoe and feel the spray of the future biting at your face.' We translate this phrase to 'a learner pushing their personal boundaries to achieve success.'

Kia ora koutou

It has been great to see classes settled and into programmes and routines so early in the term. Junior swimming is well underway with children making great progress already. 

Our Year 6 students enjoyed their Leadership Day at Tirohanga last Friday, all looking forward to taking up their roles as school leaders this year.  I had the first meeting with our new student council today. They are very excited about the challenges ahead and will be excellent school representatives.
