Last week Dana came to school to share her art work and to talk to us about Maori art.

We listened as she told us about the symbols in Maori art and what they mean, we looked as she showed us her amazing art work and we got to try drawing some symbols. It was really interesting and we had a lot of fun. We can all draw koru and we shared our family stories through Maori art. We were very lucky and we are very grateful for Dana coming along to spend time with us.
