Congratulations to all athletes who participated in the Otago Primary Schools' Athletics Champs last Tuesday. There were some outstanding results and some excellent 'personal bests' achieved. Special congratulations to the girls' under 11 years relay team who won their event. (See results later in the newsletter.)

NEW APPOINTMENTS

Lucy Lowery has been appointed to a fixed-term position in the Junior School for 2023. Lucy has been teaching Juniors in a collaborative learning space at Springston School in Canterbury and will bring many strengths across the curriculum with her. We look forward to having Lucy on the Junior Teaching Team.

Kendall Brook who has been a third year teacher trainee at East Taieri this year, has been appoionted to the fixed-term position in Kohekohe/Room One for Term One next year while Janine Clague is on sabbatical leave. Kendall has already built positive relationships with staff and students during her very successful postings throughout the year. Kendall has been relieving throughout the school this term and we are delighted to appoint her to the senior school teaching team.
