SPORTS NEWS - WEEK 4

Jolene Casey —

Futsal

Finally we get underway this week.  Our Year 1 / 2 team and our Year 3 / 4 team play on Tuesday and our Year 5 / 6 team plays on Wednesday.  Check out the school sports website for the latest draw.

Flippa Ball

There was NO Flippa Ball last week due to the pool being used for other events.

We will post the draw for this week on our school sports website as soon as we have it.

T Ball

East Taieri Tigers Red had an awesome game on Saturday in glorious conditions with some big hits and great running and are finishing the season very well.

Red team player of the day yesterday was Isabella C and last week was Eva C.

East Taieri Tigers Black had a very close game on Saturday going down by one run to lose 8 - 7, there were some great hits and really good running. This team has gone up a grade to face a pitching machine and all the players are hitting the ball really well. Player of the day was Fergus B.

Sports Equipment for School

If you have any unused sports equipment that is still in good condition at your place, we would love to have some more for our lunchtime use. Tennis Rackets are a popular choice at the moment as are basketballs and tennis balls. If you would like to donate some unused gear to our sports shed lunchtime supply, we would love to hear from you. Please let Jolene Casey know or bring it into school to see if it is suitable. Many thanks.
