Welcome back to Term 2 - a busy term with lots of children at East Taieri School participating in Winter Sports. Hockey and Miniball teams have been sent out ready to start games next week. Lucy Lowery, our teacher in charge of Netball will send out netball teams and further information at the beginning of next week.

I have space for a female Year 5/6 miniball player. If your daughter is interested in playing Miniball, please email me asap and I will discuss this with you.

A reminder that upon registering your child to play winter sport, they have agreed to read and uphold the school sports code of conduct. Sportsmanship, team work and fair play are the most important skills your child can develop in their younger years of sport. A copy of the school sports code of conduct has been added to the bottom of this article and will also be emailed out to you on Friday.

At the end of last term we had some fabulous results from some of our Touch, Futsal and Flippaball teams. I am going to get photos of these teams and we will celebrate them in next weeks newsletter!
