Every Wednesday Mrs Christina King comes to the senior classrooms and picks a handful of students to work with her in the gardens behind the senior block. It is always a tough decision to decide who will go with Mrs King as so many students love working with her.

Last week Charlie Cockerill from Room 4 was one of the lucky students to be picked. Charlie was so excited about all the delicious vegetables he had picked that he went home that night and asked if he could cook them for dinner. 

Here is a photo of Charlie with his dinner. Everything on his plate is straight out of the East Taieri School garden! A big thank you to Mrs King for your passion and hard work. You are certainly creating some green fingered students!
