Artist Bruce Mahalski visited our classes to teach us how to sketch animals.  He taught us a technique that will enable us to draw any animal in the future.  He showed us how to look for the shapes in animals and use these to create our sketches.  The shapes enabled us to ensure our animal was in proportion and realistic looking.  We found this challenging but rewarding, especially when our second attempt looked better than the first.  Thank you for taking the time to come and teach us Bruce.
