PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Jennifer Horgan —

‘E ako ana, ā, e tipu tahi ana tātou’ - Learning and growing together.

Kia ora koutou

Thank you to parents who have been so diligent in keeping children at home if they have a cough or cold. We appreciate your support in keeping our school a safe and healthy place for everyone.

Mid year interviews will take place tomorrow, Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th of June. These catch ups will be different from our usual mid-year interviews and 3-way conferences. As we are not carrying out our formal mid-year assessments these interviews will not be assessment based, rather a general catch up and sharing of information about your child's year so far, how distance learning went and how his or her transition back to school after lockdown has gone. The focus will be on well-being and looking ahead to Terms 3 and 4. These will be 10 minute sessions.

A brief written report to be used as the basis for interviews was sent home last Friday. Parents were asked to fill out the Parent section and send the report back to school today so that teachers can make a copy for themelves. Could you please fill in the Parent section and send back to school tomorrow if it has not been sent today.

Please note: We are not having 3-way conferences for Years 4-6 this year.

Keep safe on the roads on these frosty mornings.
