What a great effort from our Year 4-6 runners at last week's Taieri Schools' Cross Country. There were several 'waves of green' as many East Taieri runners were placed in the first ten of several races, with those in Years 5 and 6 qualifying for the Otago Champs. I am always so impressed at how supportive our students are of one another, encouraging and cheering for their East Taieri team mates.

I managed to catch a couple of miniball semi-finals last week, with the same sportsmanship shown at those games. Good luck to our miniball teams for this week's games. Good luck also to teams playing in the Year 5/6 rugby league and netball tournaments this week.

COVID UPDATE

This morning we were notified that 10 children have tested positive for Covid 19 since last Friday - six seniors, three in the Middle School and one Junior.
