There was some fabulous drumming coming from the Music Room last week.

The senior team are enjoying drumming during our music lessons this term. All students are learning to follow rhythms and beats in time to backing tracks of both pop and classical music. We drum on large 10 litre buckets with yoga mat circles attached to the upturned bucket. This softens the sound which is important when 30 drummers are drumming together. I have noticed lots of great improvement with coordination of sticks, keeping in time and listening to the music.
