EAST TAIERI YEAR 0-3 CROSS COUNTRY

Natalie King-Begg —

The Year 0-3 Cross Country was held on Friday the 12th of November.

After a brief shower of rain overnight, the sun appeared and we had perfect conditions for the races. It was different this year with no spectators on the grounds, but the older children encouraged the younger ones as they gave their all, to make their way across the finish line.

A huge thank you to Caleb D and Sam M who ran most of the races with the children, and to the PALS who ran alongside, behind or supported the younger children. We are very lucky to have such great role models in our Senior students.

All children finished their races, even after falls and spills, and we were very proud of them.
