Kia ora koutou
It was such a positive start to the term last week, with children happy to be back with their friends and keen to be back into school routines and activities. Stars on Stage practices are in full swing, sports practices have started for the Taieri College Year 6 seven-a-side tournament and teams are preparing for the Rippa Rugby Tournament tomorrow. Room 7 enjoyed their Street Art tour today and parents and grandparents have been busy helping with art activities in Rooms 11 and 12.
A reminder to parents that if children are at school after 3pm, there are no duty teachers supervising the playground. Children are expected to wait for parents at the Drop-Off Zone or be enrolled in Kelly Club if parents are going to be late.
A concerned parent saw two children playing on the railway tracks last week. Please make sure that children are aware of the dangers of playing near the tracks.
Our Board of Trustees meets tonight at 5.30pm in the school staffroom.
Enjoy your week.
