Check out the links for our sports draws etc.

If you are looking ahead to next term, all 3 of our main winter codes, miniball, netball and hockey continue through most of next term too.  Nearer the end of next term we will be opening registrations for Touch, Futsal, Flippa Ball and T Ball, keep an eye out for these.

Hockey

Remember to check out the OHA website for draw updates each week. Scroll down to the Primary School Hockey options.  The draw is out right through until the end of the competition.

For this week:-

Yr 3/4 Speedy Sticks 5.10pm on OPT 1 (OPT stands for Otago Polytechnic Turf , this is the closest turf to the pavilion building).

Yr 5/6 Super Sticks 5.15pm Kings Turf

Yr 5/6 Kwik Sticks 4.30pm Kings Turf

Year 5 / 6 Super Sticks and Kwik Sticks will practice on Wednesday at lunchtime. Please ensure they have shin pads and a mouth guard with them.

Miniball

Miniball draw for Wednesday this week has changed slightly.  Please check the draw carefully for the updated game times.

The Taieri Miniball website has the draw each week:- https://www.sporty.co.nz/taieriminiball

The competition has been looked at to ensure some fairer games, there will be some changes to some opposition teams from this week.

The policy with SNOW DAYS for miniball is that if schools are closed on that day, there is NO Miniball for that day.  If it is a late start, then miniball continues as normal after school.

ALL children NEED a mouth guard to play miniball, so please ensure you have this ready to go.

Feel free to send through any game reports and / or photos of your teams in action.  :-)

Netball

It is great to finally get the Netball season underway for 2021.  Lots of great practices have been happening at school and some very eager children waiting patiently to get out there on the court.  Good luck for the season.
