Welcome to our first official week of summer sports! Flippaball and T-ball had their first games of the season over the weekend and we have our touch and futsal teams getting underway this week. A friendly reminder that as parents/caregivers/supporters we must model great sportsmanship from the sideline in order for children to show sportsmanship on the field. Good luck to all teams and I look forward to hearing about the games!

School sports website: The school sports website will have an updated copy of all summer sports teams before the end of the week. It has been a busy tasking getting all teams ready to play in such a short turn around, thank you for your patience while I get the website up to date.  

TSSA Swimming sports registrations will be sent out to parents at the end of this week, please keep an eye on your inbox or the school sports website for the registration link.

School Sticks Hockey festival: Next month we have an exciting opportunity to take some development and experienced hockey teams along to a hockey tournament organised by Hockey Otago. Please discuss with your child if they would like to go to this tournament and I will send out registration forms next week. No experience is required for the development section of the tournament. The two year level grades are Yr 1-3 and Yr 4-6. We will look at taking 4 teams altogether.
