PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Jennifer Horgan —

‘E ako ana, ā, e tipu tahi ana tātou’ - Learning and growing together.

 Kia ora Koutou

We were very sorry to hear that after 38 years as a Speech & Language Therapist in the public service, 22 of them in her current role, Karen Maunsell has resigned from the Ministry of Education to take up a role with ReThink. East Taieri School has benefitted so much from Karen’s expertise over the years and it has been great to have had her based at our school. Karen has supported so many of our students and their families, our teachers and teacher assistants, willingly sharing her knowledge, skills and resources. We would like to thank Karen for her invaluable input to East Taieri and wish her all the best as she embarks on her new venture.

COVID UPDATE

There were three children with covid reported last week - all in the Senior School.

STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT

We have so many students who achieve highly in out-of-school activities. We would love to be able to share these successes with our community, so please let us know of your children's achievements so that we can celebrate them.
