On Friday all children were treated to an art lesson with Cheryl from the Cave Art Studio. Children in Years 1-4 drew Teddy Bears using circles, ovals, and 'sausages'. They then painted them to make the bears look big and fluffy! Year 5-6 children drew robots and used black and white paint to paint them. The focus was on shading to give a 3D effect. Cheryl is a trained teacher who runs her own art studio for children in Mosgiel. She has a few places available for her holiday programme.
