DISTANCE LEARNING UPDATE FROM WITHIN THE BUBBLES OF ROOM 11 AND 12

Melanie Cruickshank —

It sure was another busy week of learning for the children of Room 11 and 12!

The students and families of Room 11 and 12 have continued to amaze both Mrs Hall and myself with their dedication, passion and innovation towards their Distance Learning.

Seesaw has been such a great interactive platform for our young learners, where we have been able to have ongoing ‘conversations’ about their learning. The tamariki enjoy looking at each other's work on our ‘Bubble Blog’ and have been commenting on each other's work, and this week, listening to each other's jokes!

Last week we had a focus on ANZAC and many family projects were undertaken to create well thought out and designed memorials in individual homes. The children of Room 11 and 12 have also continued to develop their life skills with activities like baking, house painting, gardening and board game making. We have started to learn all about fractions and where and when we use these in our daily lives at home.

The photo section below gives you a small insight into the lives of some Room 11 and 12 bubbles.
