A  piece of creative writing from Alexis Watt - Year 6, inspired by a photo during Quick Write time. 

COLOURS

The vibrant colours of her dress blinded all people who crossed her path. Her hair, magenta and green, made others stare. Pink swam around her flowery umbrella as it glistened in the sunlight. Positivity crawled through her body, engulfing every nerve she possessed. Her multi-coloured clothes brightened, the further the sun rose into the sky. Many pedestrians gawked in silence at the way she was dressed.

The bus chugged down the street, weaving its way towards the bus stop. Colourful buildings welcomed tourists into the city. 

Her crystal-blue eyes stared off into the distance. The white purse she had was tightly held against her hip.

Although old and frail, the man beside her held onto his coat as a silent breeze blew past. His cap was the colour of a bumblebee and brought more attention to him than he wanted.
