Jennifer Horgan —

‘E ako ana, ā, e tipu tahi ana tātou’ - Learning and growing together.

Kia ora Koutou

I hope that everyone enjoyed the long weekend, making the most of the beautiful day yesterday.

Our Gymnastics block started today with some very enthusiastic junior gymnasts showing their talents already.

ORIENTEERING

The TSSA Orienteering Day was a great opportunity for students on the Taieri to get together and enjoy a day in the sun, testing out their orienteering skills. Thanks to parent helpers for supporting the teams.

RIPPA RUGBY

Well done to the four teams who competed at the Dunedin Metro Rippa Rugbry Tournament last Tuesday. Special congratulations to East Taieri Navy and East Taieri Purple for qualifying for the Otago Regional Finals which are to be held on June 20th.

COVID UPDATE

There were nine children with covid reported last week - four students in the Senior School, three in the Middle School and two in the Junior School. Several of these students had been self-isolating. One teacher and one teacher assistant in the Junior School have covid, as does one teacher assistant in the Middle School.
