Thank you to all the people who brought some money along for Cupcake Day last Friday. We were amazed with how many children came to support this fundraiser. We raised $238.30 for SPCA’s around New Zealand.

I first thought up this idea because I love animals and especially cats and kittens. At home, I have a 6 month old kitten named George. I love him and he is so adorable.

I asked my friends Layla and Ivy to help with my fundraiser. I made posters for around the school and Miss Bryson helped us put advertisements in the E-Day book and in the newsletter. I also had to register online so I can pay the money into the bank.

Thank you to Mum and Sonia Simpson who helped us so much with our preparation – they baked dozens of awesome cupcakes and helped us Ice them. Also thank you to Miss B, who had to run and buy more cupcakes on the day.
