Following on from last week's teachers strike, our colleagues from the Ministry of Education Learning Support team will be going on strike tomorrow. This small group of professionals includes Psychologists, Speech-Language Therapists, Early Intervention teachers, and other specialist advisors who are critical in the support of our special learners.

At East Taieri we work closely with these specialists who support our teachers and students. We are very aware of their huge caseloads Retention and recruitment are big issues as well as the huge numbers of children needing support coming into our schools.
