Kia ora koutou

Thank you to parents and caregivers for supporting staff last week with our Teacher Only Day, enabling us to participate in a professional development day - Play Is The Way ( PITW) - a practical methodology for teaching social and emotional skills. As we introduce the programme throughout the year, we will include information in newsletters.

Staff also had a session with staff from Stonefields School in Auckland, who shared their highly successful eight year collaborative teaching journey. 

We have another busy week ahead, with our 'Mother's Day/Special Person Lunch' on Thursday, where mothers, or somebody special to our children, bring lunch to share with their children. To end the week, everyone is looking forward to our Outdoor Education Day at Tirohanga this Friday.
