The Leadership Team has started planning for 2021, looking at staffing and structure across the school.

Congratulations to Eve McSoriley who has been appointed to St Thomas's School in Winton, starting next year. We have been fortunate to have had Eve on our teaching team while Rachel Phillips has been on extended maternity leave. Eve has brought many strengths to East Taieri, especially her musical and creative talents. She is a highly valued member of our teaching team and we wish her well in her new teaching role at St Thomas's.

We will be welcoming back Rachel Phillips who will return to her teaching position in Room 5.

Karon Read is finishing her part-time teaching role at the end of the year. We were fortunate to be able to have Karon covering leadership release time in the New Entrant room for the past three years after she gave up her full-time teaching and Leadership role in December 2017. Children and teachers have continued to benefit from Karon's excellent teaching skills during this time. Our thanks and best wishes go with Karon as she takes on new ventures.
