CONGRATULATIONS to all of our amazing sporting stars who competed in a variety of events over the weekend.

Max Cross - 3rd in the New Zealand Championship Wrestling Competition in Hamilton.

Lily McGrath - Broke a long standing Otago Record for the 200m backstroke and also achieved 7 silver medals at the Long Course Swim Champs in Invercargill.

Zac Cunningham, Matthew Hanna, Ruby Jones, Nadia Te Kanawa, Jess Hanna and Rebecca Duff for their great effort at the Otago Touch Trials on Sunday.  Fingers crossed for some Otago selections.  See the photo gallery on our website for photos from the trials.

Great way to start our season to all of our new rookies (players and supporting whanau).

ET Navy Yr 3/4 lost 2-1 vs Carisbrook
A great start for the first game of the season with great commitment and positivity by all players. Some very good passing and tackling. A great goal scored by Ruan H.
Player of the day: Jacob G.
ET White Yr 5/6 lost 3-2 vs Fairfield.
After a slow start, the team came back strongly. Wonderful effort by the team with great scoring and movement around the court by Tokoitu T. Player of the day: Tokoitu T.

Flippa Ball - This got underway on Sunday with a great result for one of our teams.

ET Seals won 11-1 vs Reel me in.
Wow what a start to the season with our the team. With strong scoring by Angus R, Kaiah H and Connor S, our defence showed few gaps and gave our opposition not many chances to score. Well done to Chase and Noah on their first gamePlayer of the day : Angus R
