At the end of last Term we had the TSSA X Country at Memorial Park. Many of the children had been training hard and were looking forward to competing against the children from Silverstream and Elmgrove. There was a great atmosphere with all the children cheering on the runners down the home straight to the finish line. The top 10 finishers in the Year 5 and 6 races qualify for the Otago Champs in September. We had very good results with many East Taieri children finishing in the top 10.  There were also many children that achieved their set goals for the race.  Here are the results:
