It was great to see so many East Taieri School children competing at the Weetbix Tryathlon over the weekend! Well done for giving it a go!

Yr 4-6 TSSA Swimming Sports: On Friday the 28th of March the TSSA Swimming sports will be held at Te Puna o Whakaehu, 9am - 12.30pm. This event is a competition between Year 4-6 students from Silverstream, East Taieri and Elmgrove schools. This is an opt in event for our strong swimmers who would like to compete and potentially qualify for the Otago Swimming Champs on Sunday the 6th of April. The TSSA committee is meeting this Friday afternoon and I will send additional information out about this on Hero. Please note, this is NOT an event that all Yr 4-6 children to compete in! It is only for children who opt in and are strong swimmers who can confidently swim 2 lengths of the 25m pool with no support from an adult or floatation device.

I look forward to our Yr 3-6 Girls only Rippa Rugby tournament next Wednesday and our Yr 5/6 Boys only have a go day next Friday, I can't wait to share photos with you next week. If your child has registered for either of these events, you should have received additional information today. Please note that registrations are closed for these events and all spaces are now full.
