Last Thursday all of the Year 5 and 6 girls got to experience a GIRLS ONLY multisport day in at the Logan Park Turf.  52 girls from East Taieri School took part with girls from 7 or 8 other schools from around Dunedin experiencing Football, Cricket and Hockey on the artificial turfs.  

They learnt new skills, played different games and activities, learnt how to umpire football and many other awesome things as they moved around the 3 different codes.

Everyone had a fantastic time and all took part with huge enthusiasm and energy.

Congratulations to Christiana McC and Paige K who were awarded prizes for their fantastic fair play, sportsmanship and enthusiasm towards their sports and fellow players.
