East Taieri energisers through to the regional finals . . .

Earlier this year, a group of 4 budding and willing designer/engineers made their way to an EPro8 technology challenge. The team of Leo Jones, Riley Cross, Rosie Falcous and Abigail Anderson managed to gain a placing to allow them to participate in the regional finals. The finals were held last Wednesday at Kaikorai Valley College. The team with 2 new members (due to sickness and other commitments), was made up of Leo Jones, Riley Cross, Finn Wilson and Caleb Ford. The boys designed and made a number of things of  a more complex and difficult nature. The time raced past and everyone really enjoyed the experience. we are definitely going to enter this event again next year if possible. Well done all the Energisers!!! 

As a follow on from this we are going to be running some technology type challenges during lunchtimes later in the term. These will be open to anyone who wants to take part. If you have any bits and pieces that we could use, can you contact Natalie in Room 10.
