Thank you to the outgoing Board members for their highly valued input and support, especially Karen, who has been on the Board for seven years, her legal expertise has been of great benefit during her time as Board Chair. Karen’s and Amanda’s willingness to remain on the Board, even when their children had left school was really appreciated. Amanda has helped us understand the importance of fostering cultural awareness, as well as keeping us up-to-date with Board issues in her role as Board Secretary and we have valued the strengths and skills she has brought to the team. Thanks to Sam for taking on the Health and Safety portfolio during his term on the Board, ensuring that we were providing a safe environment for our students, both at school and when involved in EOTC activities. Sam has given us feedback and advice on reporting student achievement data, helping us to give a clearer picture of achievement throughout the school.

We feel very fortunate that Hayley Rivett and Andrew Hollands have remained on the Board, Hayley as treasurer with her wealth of accounting expertise, and Andrew with his experience with property and his goal to see the bike track and new carpark area completed. Janine Clague has been re-elected as Staff Rep on the Board, her input and support is highly valued.
