Last week we had a visiting lecturer observing student teachers on placement at East Taieri. He commented on the excellent behaviour and learning of our children and said that it was a credit to our teachers - a lovely compliment to receive.

A big thank you to the Home and School committee for organising another very successful Quiz night, raising $1800 to go towards outdoor equipment for our children. Special thanks to Katherine Jefferies for her great organisation of the event.

Thank you for supporting our Mufti Day fundraiser for the Otago Community Hospice. It was a very colourful day! We raised $500 which was a great effort to support the Hospice.

As there is a church conference tomorrow could parents please not park in the church carpark.

We are looking forward to our Outdoor Education Day at Tirohanga on Friday, hoping for good weather.
