ROCK CLIMBING - By: Kate Aitken
Harnessing myself to a rope I flick it around a rock and pull tight. The ropes rough surface rubs against the rock and leaves a thick line of pure rock, as it had wiped away the dust. I edge myself towards the side of the cliff, the rope feeling more secure with every step. I bend down and lower my body over the side of the sharp spiky cliff. A small breeze picks up and I sway side to side. I look out across the plains, and a thick blue fog covers the world below like a blanket. A puff of fresh air travels up my nose.
