I'm sure that we will have many budding young East Taieri sportspeople inspired by the incredible success of our Olympians. What amazing achievements for our country.

Our trips to Araiteuru Marae last week were great experiences, where everyone felt very welcome, making the most of new learning and opportunities. A special thanks to Werner Hamman and Alexis Robin who stepped up as our male speakers to perform the whaikōrero (formal speeches) for the Junior and Senior Schools during their pōwhiri.

Good luck to all cross country runners competing in the TSSA Cross Country event tomorrow.
