STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. A STEM challenge is usually a combination of 2 or more of the core elements.

Last Friday many of the Room 3 and Room 4 students were performing at Polyfest so Miss B decided to challenge the thinking of the remaining students with a Marble Maze Challenge. 

The students had limited materials and time restraints. Working with a partner the students needed to construct a marble maze.

 We looked at different types of pinball and marble machines to inspire our thinking. 

We also discussed the importance of listening to each other as 2 minds are better than 1!
