We are hoping for a sunny day tomorrow for our Outdoor Education Day at Tirohanga.

It was great for staff to be able to move into the 'new staffroom' last week. The prefab has been transformed into a lovely relaxing space. A big thank you to Louise Conley who shared her interior design skills with us, giving us ideas for colours and furniture.

The Leadership Team will be away from Wednesday this week visiting Central Otago schools who are using 'Hero,' a new assessment and reporting system which we are considering introducing at East Taieri. 'Hero' is a  secure online sharing platform built by teachers, school leaders and parents to help schools reduce workload, increase student agency and support parents.

Hayley Miller, who has been relieving throughout the school this year, has been appointed to cover Rachel Phillips' maternity leave from 28 June this year until 14 April 2022. We look forward to having Hayley join our team while Rachel enjoys  a busy time ahead!
