PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Kia ora Koutou

Thank you to everyone for supporting our Mufti Day Fundraiser for the village school severely damaged in the recent devastation in Tonga. $570 was raised, which was a fantastic effort!

We have had such a settled start to school and really appreciate the support and understanding of parents and caregivers in these challenging times. We have been especially grateful to parents who have kept unwell children at home, getting them checked at the doctor.

A reminder to all parents and caregivers to please scan in at the gate and wear a mask.

Junior and Middle School swimming is going well with staff impressed with the progress that children have made already.

It has been great to see every child wearing a sunhat. We are still finding several uniform items unnamed which makes it extremely difficult to find their owners. Please ensure that ALL uniform items are named.

Make sure that you check the SchoolDocs article in this week's newsletter. You can find all of our policies and procedures on the SchoolDoc's site.

At the last Board of Trustees meeting Jared Hayes was co-opted onto the Board. Jared's expertise in IT and project management will be of great benefit to the Board.

Enjoy the week ahead.

Ngā mihi
