Tuesday the 15th of June was the final of the Otago EPro8 challenge. 'The Boy Gang' from East Taieri was there.

Congratulations to “The Boy Gang” who took part in the EPro8 Otago finals at DNI, on Tuesday the 15th of June. The team of Oliver C, Oliver W, Ryker M and Jesse-Alan T were fantastic role models for East Taieri School, as they collaborated together to design and build as part of their final challenge with a nautical theme.

There was great excitement as the best teams from across Otago arrived at the venue ready to build and create using the EPro8 challenge kits. Great secrecy surrounded just what the challenge was to be, as the teams waited patiently for the countdown to begin! Theme songs were chosen for buzzers and planning was allowed, as nervous excitement filled the room. Finally the moment arrived and the challenge began!!!

Lighthouses, navigation tools and a waka were the challenges of the day. The team worked fabulously together, consistently demonstrating the East Taieri School values of resilience, respect and personal best.

Well done boys - we are very proud of all you achieved and the way you presented and managed yourselves.
