Welcome back to our East Taieri families for Term Two, with a special welcome to several new students starting school today. I hope that everyone enjoyed the holiday break and feels refreshed and ready for the busy term ahead. Please check the calendar for dates of upcoming events.
Thank you to our Year 6 students for leading our ANZAC service during the last week of term. A special thank you to the choir for their beautiful singing of the ANZAC song 'Little Red Poppy' and to Ah-Lek Tay for playing 'The Last Post' for us which always adds a special dimension to the service.
It is pleasing to see the progress that has been made with the building project during the holidays and we look forward to completion early this term.
Enjoy the great weather this week.
Ngā mihi nui
