EAST TAIERI SCHOOL DISCO

Natalie King-Begg —

On Friday afternoon excitement was in the air, as music was pumping from the Owhiro Centre!

The East Taieri School discos were held on Friday afternoon. Excited children gathered in the Owhiro Centre (which the teachers had turned into a disco cave) to dance the afternoon away. The Home and School had organised 'goodie' bags, and glow sticks lit up the room! Dancing and the sound of laughter filled the air as fun was had by all. Even a special man in a red suit made an appearance, much to the joy of the little people!

We really liked having 2 discos - one for the younger children and then another one for the older ones after school. The children loved the games - the limbo, the dance off in classes, and the DJ's! It was a great afternoon, and we really appreciate the support of everyone who made it happen.
