MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL/TUMUAKI
‘E ako ana, ā, e tipu tahi ana tātou’ - Learning and growing together.
Kia ora Koutou
It's a busy week at East Taieri this week with Mr Yipadee, children's author here this morning, Life Education bus, Pip and Harold starting sessions today, Girls' Rippa Rugby tournament Wednesday and Year 5/6 Boys' Multi Sport Festival, Friday.
Mr Yipadee
This morning was off to a fun start with tamariki being entertained by Mr Yipadee, children's author, musician, and producer. There was lots of laughter and singing coming from the Owhiro Centre as Mr Yipadee shared his chart - topping books and songs with the school. It was great to see the children so engaged with books. A lucky group of Year 4-6 children had the opportunity to attend a writing workshop following the performance.
If parents want to buy books, we can arrange for this through the school until Wednesday. We can also arrange for the books to be signed. Contact Natalie natalie@east-taieri.school

Bike Track
It was great to see so many families using the bike track during the weekend.
