WALK N WHEEL TO SCHOOL WALK

Lisa Agnew —

Our Walk n Wheel to School Week last week was a great success, with close to 220 students using active transport to get to school.

Congratulations must go to our school community for supporting their children in their efforts.  It was great to see so many students and their whānau taking advantage of the fine weather to walk, bike, and scooter to school.

While Walk n Wheel to School week is over, we would love to see students continuing to make the effort to walk, bike or scooter to school.  The more parents who use the dropoff points, the less congestion there will be in the school carpark and at the Gladstone Road / Cemetery Road intersection.  Please check these drop-off points on the Walk n Wheel to School Map below.
