‘E ako ana, ā, e tipu tahi ana tātou’ - Learning and growing together.
Kia ora Koutou
Thank you to everyone for your support throughout the challenging first term of 2022. I would like to make a special mention of the great teaching team and support staff at East Taieri, who have done their best to keep things as normal as possible for our tamariki, as the team navigated their way around the continually changing rules and regulations that came with Covid guidelines for schools.
We are excited to be planning an upgrade of the Middle School block this year and during the upcoming holidays the senior block is to get a much needed new roof. Fulton Hogan plan to be busy on Cemetery Road during the holidays, so hopefully your trips to school will be 'smoother' next term!
We had 80 students absent one day last week, with many families isolating. Hoping that there is a healthier start to next term and that everyone can enjoy a relaxing break over Easter and the holidays, taking a much needed rest and time to 'recharge batteries.'
Stay safe and well.
