Our first week back was a busy one with Matariki Night a real highlight. It was great to see so many families joining us for the celebration. A special thank you to Jack L who shared the story of Matariki with us and to Manu Mātārae and Manu Rere for their performances. Thanks also to the groups who shared waiata. Joining together for soup and rolls was a lovely way to end the evening.
All classes have Marae visits this week. Thank you to the many parents who have offered to join us.
Our first week coping with the Cemetery Road upgrade seems to have gone relatively smoothly, with the Fulton Hogan team very helpful and accommodating. Please let us know if you have any concerns regarding the roadworks.
Enjoy your week.
