The Middle Team had a great visit from Predator Free Dunedin last week as part of our Inquiry into Sustainability.  We learned about the different types of predators we have in our local environment and what we can do to protect our native birds and trees at school.  

The Predator Free team was very generous and left us two rat traps which we have set up in the orchard and the wilderness area.  We also have bite cards attached to trees and a paw print tunnel so we can track which predators are visiting the orchard.  

The T-Rex rat traps and also possum traps Zac showed us are available from The DOC Visitor Centre/ISITE in the Octagon.
