MOVE IT MARCH

Move it March is a promotion to encourage children to walk and wheel to school in March.   

Each child will be given a card to record the times they have walked/wheeled to and from school. When the card is completed, it will go into the draw to win prizes.  On Friday, 14th March, Scout, the mascot for Move it March, is coming before school to visit the children. (More information about that will follow.) 

If you live too far away to walk or wheel to school, here are some possible locations to drop your child off so they can walk or wheel part of the way to school: the tunnel on the Kinmont side, the train station on Gladstone Road, or JJ's Tractors on Gladstone Road. Another option if you bus or travel by car is once you get to school in the morning, the PALS (Year 6 Physical Activity Leaders) will be taking children on a walk around the school field. This will count towards winning prizes at the end of the month.
