Our Board of Trustees

Your board's role is to govern the school by setting strategic goals and the policies by which the school is controlled and managed. Your board entrusts the principal to work towards these goals and report on the school's progress throughout the year. The Board:

• monitors and evaluates student progress: and achievement.

• oversees the management of staff, property, finances, curriculum and administration.

• ensures that government priorities are met.

The school board is responsible for:

• policies and procedures

• planning for the future

• employing all school staff

• complying with the law

• managing budgets.

The different roles of our Board members are:

Presiding member - Jared Hayes

Secretary - Liz Campbell

Treasurer - Hayley Rivett

Health & Safety - Garreth Jay

Property - Andrew Hollands

Co-opted Member - Vijay Mowbray

Staff Representative - Janine Clague

The board doesn't get involved in operational issues. The principal is responsible for the day-to-day running of the school.
