‘E ako ana, ā, e tipu tahi ana tātou’ - Learning and growing together.
Kia ora Koutou
The highight of last week was the opening of our bike track and it was great to hear that many children had been enjoying the track during the weekend. Matt Horan and Kirsten McCrostie were presented with cards from the children, thanking them for the pivotal role they played in ensuring that the bike track became a reality. Without the support of the Home & School Committee and the time and effort put into fundraising the bike track wouldn't have happened. A huge thank you to all involved.
Whānau Connect/Meet the Teacher Evening
Teachers enjoyed the opportunity to catch up with parents at our Whānau Connect/Meet the Teacher Evening last Wednesday, sharing information about how children have settled in and setting goals together for 2025. A reminder that you are able to make an appointment to see teachers at any time should you have issues or concerns you wish to discuss.
On Monday, 17th March school will be closed to enable teachers to attend a Mathematics Curriculum Day (Teacher Only Day). All teachers will be participating in professional development related to the new Mathematics curriculum. This will be in conjunction with Elmgrove School.
Please add this date to your calendar.
Enjoy the week ahead.
