HEALTHY EATING

by Jennifer Horgan

We have noticed that there are a growing number of lollipops/lollies etc being dropped off for children to share for their birthdays. We have discussed this issue and reflected on the fact we are a Health Promoting School. We have also acknowledged the children who have food allergies/medical conditions and we would prefer that bringing lollies for birthdays doesn't continue as it can make situations difficult to manage at short notice. Thanks so much for your support of this.
